A letter from Kate:
I'm Kate, the owner of Head Above Water. Aquatics has been a central part of my life ever since I was six years old when I joined a summer league swim team in my home state of Minnesota. I went on to compete in club swimming through USA Swimming and led my High School Swim Team to four straight State Championships. Ultimately I fulfilled my dream of swimming for the NCAA Division I Women's Swim Team at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. I competed as a Trojan for four years — FIGHT ON!
I now have the delight and honor to share my passion for aquatics with others. Swimming is an important life-long skill that will benefit the swimmer for years to come, both in and out of the pool. Whether you are looking to have your infant build a positive association with the water at the youngest age possible, are looking to help your 3-year-old overcome his/her fear of the water, want your 12-year-old to have every opportunity possible to hone his/her potential to become a competitive swimmer, are an adult looking to learn for the very first time, or anything in between, I would love to speak with you about how I can assist you in reaching your goals.
